Trump Impeachment Torched By Rand Paul

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul dismantled the stupid and un-American Trump impeachment “trial” congressional Democrats are about the drag the country through in a powerful and blistering defense of free speech.

He rightly pointed out that impeachment is for the purpose of removing an elected official from office, not the political persecution of a private citizen.

The senator called out the hypocrisy of Democrats like Cory Booker and Maxine Waters, who have used much worse rhetoric than Donald Trump did on January 6th yet are supportive of impeachment.

Paul also pointed out that the Bernie-inspired shooter who nearly killed Steve Scalise and other Republicans was the one responsible for his actions, not Bernie Sanders.

Democrats are planning a historically stupid impeachment of Donald Trump for exercising his first amendment rights and encouraging peaceful protest and encouragement from his supporters in D.C. on January 6th. This despite clear evidence that the vandalism of the Capitol was planned ahead of time. Joe Biden has issued a plethora of economically ruinous executive orders (apparently with no need for congressional involvement) so they are free to conduct yet another impeachment circus.

Democrats cannot govern or focus on policies because the American people are overwhelmingly against them on the issues, so they will drag out the Trump bogeyman as long as they possibly can.
