FED UP: Colorado County Lifts All Restrictions

1 min read

The dam is starting to break. Custer County’s commissioners voted yesterday to ignore the state’s crazy COVID dial and allow their businesses to operate free of draconian restrictions.

Throughout the course of the coronavirus panic, the Colorado data has failed to demonstrate that government-imposed restrictions have had any effect on the spread of the virus, yet the state government has continued to utilize outdated and debunked modeling in an effort to convince the public that economic suicide was the answer.

Custer County, with a population of around 5,000 and one reported coronavirus-linked death, has chosen to follow the science rather than media and government scaremongering, and may act as an example to other Colorado counties eager to return to a state of non-emergency, anti-authoritarian freedom.

Now, local governments seem to be waking up as coronavirus infection fatality rates have fallen below seasonal flu, and are unwilling to continue violating their citizens’ constitutional rights.

Coloradoans – especially in the Denver Metro area – have shown a stubborn unwillingness to demand their rights back, and instead seem content to allow the state government to continue to ravage their businesses and schools with unconstitutional restrictions and keep their elderly loved ones locked in isolation for the remainder of their lives. Perhaps it is about to change.

  1. I thought at the beginning, “No way people are going to put up with those mandates.” I’m saddened to see how wrong I was. If hardly anyone would have complied, they wouldn’t have been able to enforce them.

And it’s also tragic that the police went along with them and enforced them. Why “Back the Blue” when they were all too willing to enforce the governments draconian mandates and shutdowns?

We are no longer the land of the free and home of the brave. We have become the land of the fleeced and home of the slave.
