Governor Who Devastated Colorado Economy Finally Gives Back Power

In a pre-written video announcement, Colorado Governor Dear Leader Jared Polis announced that he is ending his unilateral control over the lives of Colorado citizens.

In the video, he continues to engage in the unfalsifiable, “it would have been so much worse” propaganda campaign that has been pushed on Colorado citizens for the last year and a half, with ridiculous claims like “we embrace individual responsibility” and “we followed science.”

In fact, Polis’ refusal to follow science and his continued reliance on the long-debunked UC Health model did massive damage to Colorado’s economy, arbitrarily closing businesses, churches, and schools, and taking Colorado’s economy from one of the best in the nation to one of the worst in the nation.

Perhaps most ridiculously, Polis brags that Colorado had the “10th lowest fatality rate per capita of every state in the country,” failing to mention that Colorado is always in the top 10 in terms of the health of the citizenry and we would expect to have comparative COVID-19 results that mirrored our overall health. In truth, Colorado’s overreach into the lives of its citizens and economy did not produce noticeably better results than states like Florida, Iowa, South Dakota, or any other state that did not send their economies spiraling towards the likes of New Jersey, New York, or California. In truth, Colorado’s “lock ’em up” assisted living policies resulted in fatality rates similar to those caused by the policies of New York’s Andrew Cuomo.

Polis claims that his “north star” has always been not overwhelming the hospital system, which has not been at risk for the large majority of the time his dictatorial orders have been in place. He follows by claiming that 99% of COVID-19 deaths are people who remained unvaccinated, indicating that 1% of those who are vaccinated still die with COVID-19. This either means that the vaccines are not as effective as claimed, or that they continue to credit COVID-19 for the deaths of those who die primarily due to serious comorbidities.

Jared Polis thinks we’re stupid, and he thinks he can brush under the rug his culpability for the current economic malaise Colorado finds itself in. He knows reelection is coming up next year, and he hopes we will forget the terrible, inexcusable “leadership” he has offered.
