PANIC IN SILICON VALLEY: Big Tech Employees Revolting

One of the most important aspects of the internet has always been the free flow of information. The internet has been a place of anti-censorship. True believers in information freedom have noticed the danger in big tech conglomerates controlling users’ speech and how this can be abused to destroy a free society.

Now alternative social media company Gab has announced that they are getting resumes from employees at other Silicon Valley companies – likely from people horribly offended that their companies (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Amazon) apparently have values antithetical to the freedom ethos of the internet itself, and they want no part of it.

Gab (ironically) tweeted this earlier:

The time has come to pick a side – free expression or Big Brother. The hypocrisy of these tech giants is on full display, as they pull down the expression of conservatives for supposedly supporting those who have said things that supposedly incited violence, yet ignored the near-constant support offered by liberals to BLM/Antifa rioters and the many, many times liberals and Democrat politicians expressed far worse violent sentiments on their platforms:

Hope is not lost. This war has just begun, and we have allies in the tech industry that are not okay with the internet being controlled by massive multinational corporations.
