THE ITALIAN JOB: Be Wary of Conspiracy Theories

While it is clear that Dominion Voting Systems and other similarly-compromised voting platforms have no business being certified for use in any government elections, a widespread conspiracy theory has gained traction with informed conservatives giving them hope that all will be right with the world before January 20th.

The theory involves a secret military operation obtaining smoking gun evidence of international election fraud (specifically Italy and the Vatican) with Trump planning to use emergency executive powers to blow the lid off a deeply corrupt Washington swamp. Many internet conspiracy theorists are talking about this supposedly super-secret operation out in the open, leading any logical person to wonder why they would risk compromising the “mission” by letting their opponents know that they are on to them.

The entire thing sounds too good to be true. It likely is.

Much the same way the media is currently using the illegal actions of a handful of crazies to smear every American supportive of Donald Trump, these kinds of conspiracy theories are useful to a media and government establishment who seek to paint people raising reasonable objections to the 2020 election as “far-right” loons.

Reputable conservative bloggers and websites have been unable to confirm the rumors that the election was stolen via this kind of spy novel narrative, and are wise to be wary of such theories when the methods to rig the election are much simpler and do not need the involvement of foreign actors or widespread subversive behavior by high-ranking government officials.

Stay calm, be logical, and wait for evidence. Have hope that justice will prevail.
